Compounding Standards
Home Care Pharmacy/Fennel's pharmacists are registered with Professional Compounding Centers of America, Inc.(PCCA).
PCCA's extensive support system allows the pharmacists to solve compounding problems. It also allows the pharmacists to continually update their compounding skills by attending on-going education training.
All chemicals used in our compounds are USP grade. If there is no U.S. Pharmacopoeia standard for the specific chemical needed to fill an order, criteria established in the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy "Good Compounding Practices for State - Licensed Pharmacies" are used in procuring the chemical.
